The radiation of these BL368 tubes has been improved and is extremely powerful, peaking at a wavelength of approximately 368 nm. The sensitivity of flying insect eyes is generally close to this frequency, which means a 100% improvement in effectiveness (at 368 nm). The decline in UV-A output over time is significantly lower (80% of initial output at 5,000 operating hours, compared to the initial output after 100 hours).
